Our online store is hosted and powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer our products and services to you.

By accessing our website, purchasing a product, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by any policies incorporated into these Terms by reference, including our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our website or purchase products from us.

1. Eligibility and Online Store Terms

By using our website or placing an order, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, province, or country of residence, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the website where permitted by law.

Certain products may be available exclusively through our online store and may be produced or fulfilled after your order is submitted.

Many Riff and Ridge products may be manufactured, printed, embroidered, packaged, or fulfilled by third-party production and fulfillment partners.

We reserve the right to:

Discontinue products at any time
Modify product designs, materials, specifications, or packaging
Limit sales to particular individuals, households, geographic regions, or jurisdictions
Cancel orders where necessary due to availability, fraud concerns, pricing errors, or other legitimate reasons

Any offer for a product or service made through our website is void where prohibited by law.

4. Product Images, Colors, and Variations

We make reasonable efforts to display product images, colors, artwork, dimensions, and descriptions as accurately as possible.

However, the appearance of colors may vary depending on your device, monitor, screen settings, lighting, photography, and other factors. We cannot guarantee that your device will display colors exactly as they appear on the physical product.

Products produced through printing, embroidery, garment dyeing, washing, distressing, or other manufacturing processes may contain minor variations between individual items.

Distressing
Stitching
Measurements
Manufacturing characteristics

may occur and do not necessarily constitute a defect.

5. Sizing and Fit

Product measurements and size charts are provided as general guidance.

Sizing may vary between garment manufacturers, styles, production runs, and individual products. Minor measurement variations may occur during manufacturing.

You are responsible for reviewing the applicable size chart and selecting the appropriate size before placing your order.

If something doesn't fit, our Shipping & Returns Policy explains how to request a replacement in a different size or a refund.

6. Pricing

Prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notice.

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed do not necessarily include applicable taxes, customs duties, import charges, or other governmental fees.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, typographical errors, inaccurate discounts, or other mistakes appearing on our website.

If an obvious pricing error affects an order you have already submitted, we may cancel the affected order and issue an appropriate refund rather than fulfill the order at the incorrect price, subject to applicable law.

7. Promotions, Discounts, and Coupon Codes

Promotions, discounts, coupon codes, promotional pricing, giveaways, and special offers may be subject to additional terms.

Unless otherwise stated:

Discounts cannot be combined
Discount codes have no cash value
Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to completed purchases
Promotional offers may be modified or discontinued at any time
Promotional offers may be limited by product, customer, geographic region, quantity, or time period

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse transactions involving fraudulent, manipulated, duplicated, unauthorized, or improperly obtained promotional codes.

8. Orders

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the order.

We reserve the right to accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including:

Fulfillment limitations
Incorrect product or pricing information
Suspected fraud
Unauthorized payment activity
Resale or bulk purchasing activity

Technical or payment processing errors

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue an appropriate refund in accordance with applicable law.

9. Billing and Account Information

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, shipping, payment, and account information for all purchases made through our website.

You agree to promptly update information when necessary so that we can complete transactions and communicate with you regarding your order.

You represent and warrant that you are authorized to use any payment method submitted in connection with an order.

Payment processing may be provided through Shopify, Shopify Payments, or other authorized payment processors.

Riff and Ridge generally does not directly store complete payment card information.

10. Fraud Prevention

Orders may be reviewed using automated or manual fraud prevention tools.

We reserve the right to request additional information reasonably necessary to confirm an order, billing information, shipping information, or identity before fulfillment.

We may delay, refuse, or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorized payment, identity misuse, resale abuse, promotional abuse, or other unlawful activity.

11. Shipping and Delivery

Estimated shipping and delivery information is provided in our Shipping & Returns Policy and during checkout where applicable.

Typical orders may take approximately 5–13 business days to arrive. Business days exclude weekends and holidays.

Shipping and delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly state otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances including:

Production volume
Carrier delays
Weather
Natural disasters
Holiday periods
Customs processing
Labor disruptions
Transportation interruptions
Incorrect shipping information
Events outside our reasonable control

If we cannot ship an order within the promised or legally required timeframe, we will provide any notice, cancellation option, or refund required by applicable law.

12. Shipping Addresses

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address.

If you discover an address error, contact us immediately at support@riffandridge.com.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered production or fulfillment.

To the extent permitted by law, Riff and Ridge is not responsible for additional costs or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information supplied by the customer.

13. International Orders, Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, value-added tax, brokerage charges, tariffs, or other government fees.

Unless otherwise stated during checkout, the customer is responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, or similar charges imposed by the destination country.

Customs processing may delay delivery and is outside our direct control.

We cannot misrepresent the value, contents, or nature of a shipment for customs purposes.

14. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

You may request a refund for any reason within 30 days of purchase, or a replacement in a different size if your apparel doesn't fit. Please contact us before sending anything back.

We will review claims involving products that arrive seriously defective, materially damaged, materially misprinted, or materially different from the product ordered.

Customers may be required to provide photographs, order information, packaging information, or other reasonable evidence necessary to evaluate a claim.

If a claim qualifies, we may provide an appropriate replacement, refund, or other remedy.

Do not send products back to Riff and Ridge or a fulfillment provider unless you have received return instructions from us.

Our complete Shipping & Returns Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Nothing in these Terms limits any return, cancellation, refund, warranty, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable law.

15. Lost, Stolen, or Delivered Packages

If a package appears lost or substantially delayed, contact us at support@riffandridge.com.

Where tracking shows a package as delivered, customers should first check the delivery location, mailbox, household members, neighbors, building management, and the applicable shipping carrier.

We will provide reasonable assistance with delivery issues. However, subject to applicable law, we cannot guarantee replacement or reimbursement for packages confirmed by the carrier as properly delivered to the address provided by the customer.

16. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its contents are owned by or licensed to Riff and Ridge and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other intellectual property laws.

Logos and branding
Artwork
Illustrations
Apparel graphics
Product designs
Photography
Product descriptions
Website graphics
Layouts
Copywriting
Videos
Marketing materials
Collection names
Other original content

Your purchase of a product does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property associated with the artwork, design, branding, or product.

You may not reproduce, distribute, manufacture, sell, license, modify, publish, create derivative works from, commercially exploit, or otherwise use our intellectual property without prior written permission.

17. Counterfeiting and Unauthorized Commercial Use

The unauthorized reproduction, manufacture, resale, distribution, or commercial exploitation of Riff and Ridge artwork, designs, logos, photographs, graphics, or other proprietary materials is prohibited.

We reserve all rights and remedies available under applicable intellectual property, unfair competition, contract, and other laws.

18. Personal and Non-Commercial Use

Unless otherwise authorized in writing, our website and its content are provided for personal, non-commercial use.

You may purchase physical products for personal use or legitimate gifting. Purchase of a physical product does not grant a license to reproduce its artwork or design.

19. User Content, Reviews, and Submissions

If you submit reviews, photographs, comments, feedback, suggestions, social media content, testimonials, or other materials to us (“User Content”), you represent that you have the right to provide that content and that the content does not violate the rights of another person.

You retain ownership of intellectual property rights you hold in your User Content.

Where you voluntarily submit User Content to us for publication, promotion, reposting, or use in connection with Riff and Ridge, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, publish, adapt, distribute, and use that User Content for reasonable business, promotional, social media, and marketing purposes, subject to applicable law.

We are not obligated to publish, maintain, or use User Content and may remove content from our platforms where appropriate.

20. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our website, products, content, or services:

For any unlawful purpose
To solicit others to participate in unlawful acts
To violate applicable laws or regulations
To infringe intellectual property rights

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIFF AND RIDGE DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH WARRANTIES CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.

NOTHING IN THIS SECTION EXCLUDES OR LIMITS A WARRANTY OR CONSUMER RIGHT THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

27. Outdoor Use and Assumption of Risk

Riff and Ridge sells apparel, accessories, and related merchandise inspired by outdoor recreation and music culture.

Unless a product is expressly identified and certified for a specific safety function, our products are not safety equipment and should not be relied upon as protective equipment for hiking, climbing, camping, mountaineering, extreme weather, rescue, navigation, or other hazardous activities.

Outdoor recreation carries inherent risks. You are responsible for selecting appropriate equipment, preparing for conditions, following applicable rules, and exercising appropriate judgment when participating in outdoor activities.

28. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RIFF AND RIDGE AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, SUPPLIERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR SERVICES.

THIS MAY INCLUDE, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, SAVINGS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, TO THE EXTENT SUCH LIMITATIONS ARE PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF A PURCHASE OF A PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RIFF AND RIDGE FOR THE PRODUCT OR ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

29. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Riff and Ridge and its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, agents, suppliers, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from or related to:

User Content you submit where you lack the necessary rights to submit it

This obligation does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable consumer law.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Returns Policy, and any other policies or terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and Riff and Ridge regarding your use of our website and purchases from us.

If a product, promotion, or service is subject to specific additional terms, those additional terms will also apply.

37. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms, our website, or our services will be governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of mandatory protections provided by the laws of the jurisdiction in which that consumer resides where those protections cannot lawfully be waived.

38. Dispute Resolution

Before commencing formal legal proceedings, you agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve a dispute directly with Riff and Ridge by contacting us at support@riffandridge.com.

Please include sufficient information to identify the relevant order, transaction, or issue and describe the nature of the dispute.

If the matter cannot be resolved informally, any legal proceeding that is not otherwise required by applicable law to be brought elsewhere will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in North Carolina.

This section does not prevent either party from seeking relief in small claims court where eligible or from exercising any non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable consumer law.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms from time to time.

The current version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required or permitted by law.
